General Description:
The Associate Director, Medical Affairs will support the Medical Affairs Department by managing and/or working as part of a multidisciplinary team in activities relating to research studies (Investigator Initiated Studies), educational grants and continuing medical education programs, medical information services, KOL development, and publications. This role will interface with many internal and external stakeholders, including the medical science liaison (MSL) team, commercial personnel, R&D personnel, senior management, research institutions, and outside medical experts. This person will be responsible for successful implementation and optimization of a variety of projects and processes, which may require management of multiple vendors and collaboration with internal and external constituencies. The ability to create, critically review, and track/manage medical and scientific-based communications is central to success in this position.
