Senior Product Manager, MS Marketing

The Senior Product Manager, MS Marketing will be responsible for the implementation of medical education and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) efforts for Acthar in MS. Reporting to the Product Director, MS Marketing, the SPM will be responsible for leading the development of KOL relationships, managing advisory boards and collaborating across functional groups to ensure alignment and coordination of marketing activities. The incumbent will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills results-driven focus and the ability to successfully lead cross-functional activities.  Experience in the field of MS is highly desirable.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross functional teams including, medical affairs, market research, sales, reimbursement, and regulatory to develop and lead MS KOL programs that support the brand strategy
  • Lead cross functional teams to ensure scientifically accurate  and compelling materials are created to support KOL programming and  promotional materials
  • Analyze clinical data and  clinical trial results to determine clinical and promotional  relevance for Acthar in MS
  • Identify data needs and work with medical affairs to optimize  publication plan
  • Interact with KOLs and HCP advocacy groups to build support for Acthar in MS professional community
  • Develop and implement national and regional advisory board programs for HCPs
  • Interface with brand team to ensure programs are in alignment with brand strategy
  • Develop and manage project budgets as well as third-party logistics providers
  • Contribute to development of annual business plan for MS therapeutic area
  • Other key responsibilities will include working collaboratively and representing the strategic view of MS marketing  across functional groups including , sales, medical affairs, reimbursement and clinical development

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of pharmaceutical brand management responsibility
  • Minimum of 2 years successful experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales
  • Specialty pharmaceutical products experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to form enduring productive relationships with KOLs
  • Highly motivated, results driven individual with a track record of success in a team driven environment.
  • Self-starter with strong decision-making capabilities and demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently when appropriate
  • Excellent communication, (written and oral) presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor degree or higher required.  MBA Degree is preferred
  • Overnight travel required
